Canada Goose: On the Winter Racetrack With Porsche

Two of the world’s top performance companies come together this winter to offer the ultimate sports driving experience. Canada Goose and sports vehicle manufacturer Porsche bring an exhilarating snow and ice driving program to Canada this February and March 2011.

The Porsche Camp4 Drive program is well known in Europe and its debut near Mont Tremblant will be one of the most picturesque and challenging snow an d ice driving experiences. Instructors from the Porsche Sport Driving School and a fleet of 20 Porsche Caymans and 911 Carreras will put participants to the test at the Mecaglisse “racetrack”. The Mecaglisse specialized facility features two circuits, a large skidpan and two vehicle-handling courses prepared according to Porsche’s specifications.

“Porsche has long provided drivers the skills to drive with precision, performance and mastery in all kinds of adverse conditions,” says Joe Lawrence, President and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada. “Our focus with the three-day Camp4 Canada program will be to train participants’ muscle memory for emergency situations and teaching them how to drive with precision in treacherous Canadian conditions, including special techniques for driving on snow and ice.”

With over 50 years of experience designing for performance in extreme conditions, Canada Goose is the perfect match to Porsche’s premium winter driving experience. Camp4 Canada program instructors will be outfitted with Canada Goose parkas to stay warm as participants apply their new skills and carve up the track.
